Charla de Moda 11 de abril de 2019. #MyECI

¡Hola a todos! ¿Qué tal os han sentado las vacaciones? Contadme vuestros planes!!

En el post de hoy os voy a hablar de un evento muy guay del que pude formar parte. Si me seguís en Instagram (@mirmarher) sabréis (porque os estuve comentando por ahí) que tuve la suerte de participar en el evento que organizó el Corte Inglés de Vitoria el día 11 de abril, en el que estuvimos comentando las tendencias que vienen pisando fuerte para la temporada primavera - verano 2019.
Antes de empezar a contaros mi experiencia, quiero dar las gracias a todas las compañeras con las que tuve la suerte de coincidir, porque me llevo una experiencia para recordar de la que aprendí mucho! Y sobretodo quiero agradecerle a Yolanda por pensar en mí para este día y todo el cariño y confianza que me ha proporcionado desde el primer momento.

On today's post, I want to talk to you about an event I had the opportunity to be part of. If you follow me on Instagram you will know (because I have been telling you guys there) that I had the opportunity to participate in the event that El Corte Inglés organized on April 11. That day we talked about the fashion trends that we will see this spring summer 2019. But before we get started with the experience, I would like to thank all the peers with which I had the opportunity to coincide, because it was a great experience and I learned a lot. Especially I would like to thank Yolanda because she thought of me for that day and because of all the kindness and trust she gave me since the beginning. 

Antes de que la charla comenzara, comimos todas juntas en El Corte Inglés. Nunca había comido allí y no me pudo gustar más, estaba todo delicioso! Como nunca habíamos trabajado juntas, la planificación era esencial, y el comer juntas nos dio la posibilidad de conocernos de antemano además de decidir cómo íbamos a estructurar la charla.

Eider, Esti, Laura, Joana y Jesús estuvieron detrás del mismo evento que se organizó en Eibar unas semanas antes, y gracias a su experiencia nos ayudaron a Yolanda y a mí con nuevas ideas para los cambios de última hora.

Before starting with the fashion talk, we all ate together at the restaurant of El Corte Inglés. I had never eaten there before and I loved every bite of it, it was delicious! As we have never worked all together before, the planning beforehand was crucial, and the change of eating all together gave us the possibility to know each other better as well as the chance to plan the talk. 

Eider, Esti, Laura, Joana and Jesús took part in the same event that was held at Eibar a few weeks earlier, and thanks to their experience they helped Yolanda and me with new ideas for the last-minute changes. 

La charla la abrieron Yolanda y Esti que hablaron de las tendencias de ropa para esta nueva temporada. Mientras Esti mencionaba las tendencias, Yolanda mostraba los distintos looks que había creado previamente, para mostrarnos que aunque algunas tendencias sean arriesgadas son muy fáciles de llevar, ya que ella hace que combinaciones que creemos que son imposibles realmente son muy posibles y ponibles! Entre las tendencias tenemos que destacar los flecos, las rayas, los lunares, el tie-dye, los colores muy vivos, las mallas de ciclista y los trajes. (¡Además de muchas más!)

The fashion talk was opened by Yolanda and Esti, who talked about the upcoming fashion trends. While Esti was mentioning the trends, Yolanda presented different looks and outfits that she prepared before, showing that risky trends are very easy to combine, as she makes impossible combinations appear possible!! Among the trends, we have to highlight fringes, stripes, dots, tie-dye, very bright colours, bike shorts,  and suits. 

Tanto con Yolanda y Esti como con Eider y conmigo estuvo Laura, que ejerció de presentadora y animó al público en todo momento con su simpatía, haciéndoles muchas preguntas para que fueran partícipes también.

With Yolanda and Esti and with Eider and I was Laura, who was the host and encouraged the audience to talk and to ask questions. 

Una vez presentaron los distintos looks, Eider y yo nos encargamos de comentar los distintos estilos de accesorios que vamos a ver. Muchas veces nos olvidamos de la importancia que tienen los accesorios, ya que pueden transformar un look muy básico a uno más elegante o desenfadado. Según los accesorios que elijas y los que más se asemejen a tu personalidad, ¡claro! Empezamos hablando de los zapatos, y mientras yo nombraba las distintas tendencias, Eider daba distintas propuestas de cómo combinar ese tipo de calzado con la ayuda de Joana, que nos ayudó a mostrar las distintas tendencias. Entre el calzado destacamos: las botas militares, botas cowboy, ugly shoes/sneakers, sandalias plataforma y bailarinas.

Después Eider se encargó de mostrarnos los distintos bolsos que vienen pisando fuerte esta temporada como son el bolso de bambú de Cult Gaia, bolsos de red con conchas, bolsos de mano con flecos, o totalmente transparentes (tendencia que me encanta).

Finalmente, yo mencioné las distintas tendencias que se presentan en joyas como pendientes o collares, gafas de sol y sombreros. Mis tendencias favoritas son los pendientes extralargos de flecos, pendientes con el material Carey y los que tienen distintos abalorios como las conchas. Los collares, cuanto más grandes, ¡mejor! Respecto a la gafas de sol veremos los estilos más clasicos pero reinventados con pastas de distintos colores o estilos futuristas. Terminamos mencionando los sombreros y gorros, mencionando el que viene pisando más fuerte, el Bucket Hat. 

Once the looks were presented, Eider and I talked about accessories. We often tend to forget how important accessories are, as they can completely transform one casual outfit to a more elegant one, and vice-versa, always depending on your personality and style. We started talking about shoes and while I was mentioning the different types of shoes we will see, Eider planned different outfits on how to combine the shoes to different looks. Furthermore, Joana helped us all the time showing the different pieces to the audience. We have to highlight army boots, cowboy boots, ugly sneakers/shoes, sandals with platform and ballerinas. 

Then, Eider was in charge of showing the different bags that will be everywhere, which are the bamboo bag from Cult Gaia, net/mesh bag or completely see-through bags (my favourite).

Finally, I mentioned the different trends for jewellery, sunglasses or hats. My favourites were the maxi earrings with fringes or different materials and earrings made of Carey. The necklaces the bigger the better! Talking about sunglasses we will see the classic styles but reinvented with different colours or futuristic styles. Last but not least are hats. My favourite and the one that is making a big impact is the Bucket Hat. 

Una vez hablamos de las distintas tendencias, las chicas de Sephora se encargaron de mostrarnos los distintos productos de Benefit mientras maquillaban a una chica del público. Le hicieron un maquillaje muy natural en el que hicieron incapié en las cejas (típico de Benefit, ¿verdad?).

Para agradecer a todas las participantes, Sephora les proporcionó una bolsita con distintos productos y descuentos y además se sortearon dos Asesorías personales con Yolanda en Vitoria o en cualquier otro centro de España. La verdad que es un regalazo que te asesoren y te hagan sentirte súper cómoda en tu nuevo look. 

Once we were done talking about the different trends, the girls from Sephora showed us different styles from Benefit while they were doing the make-up of a spectator. They did a very natural makeup on her while they emphasised the brows (very typical from Benefit, am I right?).

In order to thank all the participants, Sephora gave them a bag with different discounts and products to try. Furthermore, two Fashion personal counsellings were given away, with Yolanda or in any Corte Inglés from Spain. I think that is a very good gift because you get an amazing personal experience while they are looking for the best outfit for you.

Después de probarme mil trajes (porque era lo que más me apetecía llevar), me decanté por este de lino, pues sé que le voy a sacar mucho partido tanto junto como con la blazer y el pantalón por separado (el pantalón también está en short o culotte). Después decidí combinarlo con un top negro básico con el toque de puntilla en el escote (que ya sabéis que me encanta) y unas sandalias básicas negras con brillos para darle un toque más elegante al look. ¿Qué os parece mi propuesta? Os la muestro mejor con estas fotos al exterior. 

After trying on lots of suits (that was the option I was going for), I finally chose this one made of linen. I know I will make the most of this suit, with the two pieces together or separately. I then chose a basic black top with a bit of lace on the neckline (you guys know I love that). Finally, I chose these beautiful shoes, which are basic but special with glitter on them. I feel that with these sandals I am making the outfit very elegant. What do you guys think about my prosal?

Junio.

Increíble como pasa el tiempo. Junio para mí ha sido un mes paréntesis, intenso y de evaporarse. De un extremo a otro. De tener la tripa revueltísima por los nervios de Selectividad a tener cero preocupaciones mientras te tuestas al sol. De pasar del frío al calor, y del calor al frío (de extremos).

Junio ha sido un mes de despedidas, y de conocer a gente nueva. Pero ambas se resumen en un adiós definitivo más que en un hasta luego. 

Junio ha sido sin duda un mes de reflexiones, pues dudo mucho que vaya a volver a ver esa gente, muchas de esas personas con las que he estado desde los tres años madrugando todos los días, y otras que, conoces un verano y el único contacto que queda es Instagram o Snapchat.

Junio ha sido un mes de viajes (y por eso me gusta tanto). He podido disfrutar de Salou, de su fiesta, de su clima y sus playas con mis amigas, y a los dos días disfrutar del frío y lluvioso Edimburgo con mis padres. Y soy tan afortunada por ello. 

Pacha con las Surigatas

Aquí no sé si estaba a finales de junio o en pleno diciembre

Junio ha sido un mes de oportunidades, que mucha gente ha dejado escapar (y me incluyo en el saco).

Junio ha sido un mes de darse cuenta, de que aquello que tanto ansiabas, ya no lo deseas tanto (una vez que lo consigues). Y que cosas a las que se le dan demasiada importancia, en realidad no las tienen, que se trata de vivir, y de aprovechar cada momento.

Junio es un mes que cierra etapas. Cierra la etapa de mi vida escolar, para darle paso a una nueva, que si os soy sincera me da mucha pereza, pero tengo muchísimas ganas de este nuevo cambio. Así que démosle paso a julio, que viene intenso.

En Bilbao, Mi futura ciudad en la que pasaré los próximos cuatro años formándome en esta etapa universitaria. (Foto tomada el día que entregué la matrícula)

Spring has sprung

Hola a todos!! Hoy os traigo un nuevo outfit de lo más primaveral. Esta semana tengo vacaciones y como mi amiga Lorea y yo tenemos como tradición irnos a comer por ahí y hacer unas fotos, aprovechamos el lunes que era el día que mejor tiempo iba a hacer para sacarlas.

Hello my beautiful friends!! Today I'm going to show you an outfit that really gets me into the spring mood. I have no school this week and as my friend Lorea and I have as a tradition going out for lunch and taking some pictures, we decided to meet on monday as it was the day with the best weather.

Young and sweet only 17... until May the 20th

Como veis, ya no hay rastro de negro en mis outfits, y es que cuando hace sol, lo que menos me apetece es llevar negro. Si lleváis un tiempo siguiéndome sabréis que invierno para mí es sinónimo de invierno y el blanco sinónimo de verano. Así que aquí se va manifestando poco a poco el último.

As you can see, there's no black on my outfits. When the sun is out, I don't feel like wearing black. If you have been here for a while, you will know that winter for me means black and summer means white. So little by little, white clothes  are coming out from my closet. 

Me habéis preguntado mucho por la camisa tanto en Instagram como en Snapchat (si no me seguís por ahí es @mirmarher en ambos *guiño, guiño*) y lamento deciros que es de la temporada pasada de Zara, pero ahora están sacando unas parecidas, no de bichos pero sí de estampados parecidos (Opción 1, y opción 2). Los jeans son de Pull&Bear que son los que más me he puesto este verano, la blazer es de H&M, mis botines (que tenía pensado haberme puesto unas sandalias blancas, pero hacía demasiado frío) son de XTI, mis gafas son de Zara (que también son de la temporada pasada) y el bolso tan precioso es de Tous.

You guys have asked me a lot about my shirt on Instagram and on Snapchat (if you don't follow me there is @mirmarher in both ;) ) and I'm sorry but it is from last SS season from Zara, but you can find some similar ones here; (Option 1, y option 2). Jeans are from Pull&Bear that I have worn them so much this summer, mi blazer is from H&M, the booties (I planned on wearing some white sandals, but the weather was sooo cold) are from XTI, mi sunglasses are from Zara (frm las season as well) and this beautiful bag is from Tous.

No sé a vosotros, pero a mí ponerme ropa de primavera me hace muy feliz. Con esos colores claros y alegres, con las prendas más sueltas y ligeras...

I don't know about you, but wearing spring clothes makes me sooo happy. Light and happy colours, more light clothes...

Sweater Weather - The Neighbourhood

No puedo evitarlo pero al ver estas fotos siento como si sonara la canción del título de fondo. Además de ser una de mis canciones favoritas, es la que más me recuerda a la playa. 

Saqué estas fotos durante Semana Santa, justo el día antes de irme a Praga. El tiempo era espectacular, hacía un sol que no había visto desde septiembre y la brisa del mar no me podía hacer más feliz... Fórmula secreta de felicidad.

I can't help but every time I see these pictures, I feel as if the song from this entry's title was playing in the background. Apart from being my favourite song, is the one that reminds me the most to the beach. 

I took these pictures during Easter, just the day before heading to Prague. The weather was amazing, i didn't see the sun shinning like that since september, and the ocean breeze couldn't make me happier... secret formula to happiness.

El look está totalmente inspirado por la bloggera suiza Minea Blaze con su look en San Francisco con su novio. (Creo que ella es la culpable de que últimamente me gusten tanto el gris, azul, blanco y el crema, pero es que su estilo es tan 😍). 

Look is totally inspired by the swiss blogger  Minea Blaze & the look she wore in San Francisco with her boyfriend. I think she is guilty for making me loving gray, blue, white and cream that much, but her style is just so on point).

 El jersey es de las rebajas de zara, pero el pantalón de ASOS , las gafas de PARFOIS y el coletero de MONCOSITAMA los podéis conseguir :) 

I got the sweater on the sales from Zara, but my jeans from ASOS , the sunglasses from PARFOIS and my elastic from MONCOSITAMA are still available
